The 2016-17 grants round for multicultural events is approaching the closing stage, and will close for applications on Friday, 26 August 2016.
Through the 2016–17 multicultural events grants round, funding will be allocated to events across Queensland with up to $20,000 available under the Signature Events category, and up to $10,000 under the Cultural Events category.
Community groups, local councils and non-government organisations that involve or support migrants and refugees from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds are eligible for funding under the Celebrating Multicultural Queensland grants program – Multicultural Events.
Interested groups and organisations can review the 2016-17 Multicultural Events Funding Information Paper and other relevant detail including how to submit an application from https://www.communities.qld.gov.au/multicultural
The closing date for applications is fast approaching on Friday, 26 August 2016, and quick action is needed if you are considering submitting a funding application for an event to be held within the calendar year of 2017.
